Ellen Pei has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Family Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution with a friendly, professional client focus.

Ellen specialises in Family Law. She acted in complex family law litigation in the Family Court as well as the Federal Circuit Court. Ellen’s extensive experience working at the court gives her a unique perspective and understanding of court processes, rules and procedures. This enables her to guide her clients through the family law system with a focus on achieving the best possible and most cost-effective outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining Unified Lawyers, Ellen gained extensive experience in commercial law firms conducting complex matters in the areas of Family law, Commercial Litigation, Wills and Estates, Commercial Law and Employment Law.  Ellen has successfully represented her clients in various courts and tribunals including the Family Court, the Federal Circuit Court, the Supreme Court of NSW, the Local Court of NSW and the Fair Work Commission.

Ellen is highly skilled at achieving negotiation outcomes for clients and where possible resolving matters without the need for litigation.  She is dedicated to assisting her clients in settlement negotiations whilst sustaining the confidence and trust of the clients consistently keeping them informed at every stage of the legal process.

An effective communicator, it is with both diligence and integrity that Ellen strives to deliver consistent and positive results for her clients both in court and at settlement conferences, negotiations and mediations in an empathetic and professional manner.

Ellen also speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin). She relates well to people of all ages and backgrounds and is passionate about helping people resolve their legal issues in the most timely and cost-effective way.
