The journey into law…

Alex began his career working in Northern Regional NSW, before migrating south to Sydney where he has practised in Family law ever since.

Alex practices almost exclusively within Family Law, where he has extensive experience and knowledge in all family law related matters, including Property, Parenting , Divorce, LGBTI property settlements, De-Facto Relationships and Child Support.

Alex regularly appears before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in often complex Family Law litigation including Parenting and Property matters. He work’s with a dedicated array of specialist Forensic Accountants and Family Law Barristers to ensure that he gets the best possible result for your matter. Alex provides a clear, pragmatic and cost effective approach to the resolution of your Family Law dispute.

Other areas of expertise

In addition to Family Law, Alex practices within Criminal Law, appearing in a wide array of matters and courts within NSW. He appears in all criminal law matters including Local Court and District Court Hearings, Sentences, Licence Suspension appeals, and Severity and Conviction Appeals.

The passion for family law

Alex’s passion for family law comes from being able to guide people through a separation and help them through what is often their most difficult and stressful period of their life. Since Alex has been practising in Family Law since he was admitted as a solicitor, he has saw first hand what separation does to families, and has refined his skills to be able to guide people to a fair and equitable outcome.

Our care for clients

I have worked in family law since my admission, and have obtained a attained Specialist Accreditation in the field of family law. Specialist Accreditation is a structured peer to peer assessment process enabling legal practitioners to be recognised for their expertise.

To be accredited, specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. To retain their accreditation specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year.

I hold the skills and knowledge to get the best outcome for you.

Why Unified?

I saw that Unified Lawyers was different to other firms. They provided a clear path to help people through a separation. Plus, it is a privilege to be a part of Australia’s Most Loved Law Firm.

Passion outside of the law

Outside of Law, Alex is an avid sports enthusiast, with particular interest in Rugby League and Footbal.
