The journey into law…

Taylor joined the family law and litigation team at Unified Lawyers in 2019. Taylor has completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Social and Political Science) at the University of Technology Sydney and holds a Graduate Diploma of Professional Legal Practice.

 

She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

 

The passion for family law

After initially working at Unified Lawyers as a paralegal during her university studies, Taylor has gained a wealth of knowledge and invaluable practical experience in both family and civil litigation matters.

 

As part of the leading family law team, Taylor is experienced in all areas of family law, including but not limited to divorce, property/financial settlements and parenting disputes within both marriage and de facto relationships. Taylor is extremely passionate about family law because it allows her to assist clients through the extremely difficult process of separation. Taylor understands the emotional difficulties associated with family law matters and is committed to ensuring clients are fully informed throughout the process. Her strong communication skills and empathetic approach allows her to fully understand clients’ needs and expectations and accordingly strongly advocate for their interests and legal entitlements.

 

Our care for clients

Taylor is dedicated to achieving optimum results for clients either through written negotiation, mediation or litigation. Taylor’s clients appreciate her approach of assisting parties to commercially settle their disputes without engaging in litigation. However, she understands in some circumstances, it is in a clients’ best interests to commence proceedings in the Family or Federal Circuit Court, and will tirelessly advocate for her clients’ right in Court. Her strong knowledge of the court system and advanced advocacy and drafting skills enable her to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

 

Why Unified?

Taylor also practices in the field of civil litigation and debt recovery in both the New South Wales and Victorian jurisdictions. She conducts matters from the discovery stage through to hearing and regularly appears in the Local Court of New South Wales and the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria. Taylor is experienced in both initiating and defending proceedings and particularly specialises in motor vehicle claims.
