Our builder client sought our help to register a positive covenant and a restriction for the construction of a granny flat. Both documents concerned on-site stormwater disposal structures.

We started the process with a review of the development application, local council and LRS requirements. It allowed us to double-check that we had everything needed for registration. Then we prepared the documents, ensuring compliance with all requirements.

Once prepared, we arranged for all parties to sign the documents, and we registered them with the relevant authorities. Registration of easements

Our clients owned a residential property. They had negotiated an easement to drain water with their neighbour for $20,000 and arranged for the Plan of Easement to Drain Water document from their surveyor. The plan document had to be registered before our clients could go ahead with their development, and the surveyor couldn't help them complete this process.

What's the process for online land registration services in NSW?

Drafting the document

We'll collect details from you for the documents you require us to draft. We will check everything and track down any further information. Then we'll look at the lender, local council and LRS requirements and draft each document to comply. We will also stay in touch with the council to anticipate and avoid any potential road bumps along the way.

Reviewing and redrafting pre-prepared documents

Sometimes, another professional will prepare a document on your behalf, for example, a surveyor, town planner or architect. Or, you may have prepared the document yourself. In either scenario, we can review the document to ensure it will pass the registration process. For example:
