The journey into law…

Justin Pasqualino began his legal journey during university as an intern in a legal startup assisting with commercial clients. He found it greatly fulfilling that he could apply his analytical and communication skills to advocate for the rights of others in the practice of law.

Justin has had experience working in smaller and larger law firms, operating in the areas of criminal and family law. He worked as a paralegal for 2 years whilst completing his studies, before being admitted as a lawyer in 2021.

Experience in family law

Justin Pasqualino is an experienced family lawyer and has acted in numerous types of matters including divorce, high conflict parenting cases, complex property settlements, consent orders, Binding Financial Agreements, and child support.

Other areas of expertise

Prior to specialising in family law, Justin Pasqualino started his career as a criminal lawyer. Justin’s insider perspective on the criminal law system helps him to guide clients through high conflict parenting and property family law matters. Justin has appeared in the Local Court and the District Court for serious and minor criminal offences.

The passion for family law

Justin has a strong desire to help clients navigate the legal and emotional complexities of the family law system, with a view towards achieving a fair outcome. He is motivated to understand his clients’ unique background and story throughout the process.

Justin has a deep understanding of the intricacies of the family law system, based on his wide-ranging experiences. He understands the law can be inaccessible and is always happy to explain complex legal concepts in plain language. Justin works with his clients to identify the best course of action based on their circumstances and goals and will diligently advocate for it on their behalf.

Why Unified?

Looking to deepen his expertise in family law, Justin decided to join the experienced team at Unified Layers. Having practised in smaller firms and firms with multiple practice areas, Justin sought the opportunity to practice alongside and contribute to a team similarly passionate about Family Law.

Passion outside of the law

Outside of work, Justin enjoys cooking. He loves music and plays the drums and guitar. Justin is passionate about languages and continues to extend his language skills.
