Is conveyancing for an off the plan property more expensive than conveyancing for a normal property?

The short answer is yes. This is because contracts for the sale of an off the plan property are usually very large in size, more complicated and include more special conditions. Also, the conveyancing process for a standard property usually goes on for around 6 weeks whereas conveyancing for an off the plan property can sometimes go on for a few years.
