Dads have just as much right to spend meaningful time with their children as the child’s mum. It is not uncommon for parents to have arrangements which see their children spending time with both parents – unless the child is at risk of harm of any kind.

Children have the right to have a meaningful relationship with both parents, and the Australian Family Law Act does not favour genders or one parent over another.
