Once we understand your project and document needs, we will consider council requirements for assessment and approval. If the council needs any further documents, we’ll work with you to gather all the information. Then we will prepare the application form and any other documents and arrange for you to sign (execute) them. We will lodge the documents and wait for the council’s assessment or decision.

Before making a decision, the council may decide to inspect the property and ask for more details. We’ll address those issues and liaise with you when necessary.

Once this stage is complete, we will follow up a few weeks later to check on progress.

This process usually takes between two and eight weeks.
