The journey into law…
Otto volunteered at the Caxton Legal Centre during his studies at the University of Queensland in the Consumer Law Advice Group as part of his first foray into legal work.
Prior to joining Unified Lawyers, Otto worked in a number of boutique and medium-sized law firms in the Brisbane CBD, becoming admitted to practice as a solicitor in February 2020.
Otto has specialised in Family Law since the beginning of his career.
Experience in family law
Otto has extensive experience and knowledge in Family Law outside of his years of experience due to his prior work as an audio transcriber for Federal Circuit and Family Court hearings. Otto has had a rare insight into Court outcomes in family law matters since he started that role as a university student.

Passion outside of the law
Outside of work, Otto is a big TV/movie buff and loves watching TV series and movies that are well written.

Otto has a basic understanding of Mandarin Chinese, mainly in speaking and listening.
