The journey into law…
Michael’s interest in law began in High School when a legal studies subject was selectable. Having achieved well in the studies and enjoyed them, Michael sought to continue this in his undergraduate studies, not knowing whether he wanted to pursue it. Towards the end of his undergraduate studies, Michael decided he wanted to be a lawyer. Following graduation, Michael was provided with an opportunity to Clerk at a family law firm, where he worked until he transitioned into a solicitor. In September 2022, Michael was offered an opportunity to work in civil, administrative and immigration law. Having only worked in family law previously, Michael saw this as a great opportunity to try some other areas of law.
