Harris began his legal career in 2018, working across criminal law and commercial litigation while completing his studies.
After his admission as a solicitor in 2022, he focused his practice on Family Law and Wills and Estates Law, bringing with him a well-rounded foundation built from diverse legal experience.

Experience in family law
Harris holds experience in both complex and straightforward property disputes, including matters involving high-value asset pools, de facto relationships, and spousal maintenance. He has been involved in proceedings in both First Instance and Appellate jurisdictions before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
He regularly assists clients in resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution, including negotiation and mediation , where appropriate—prioritising cost-effective and timely outcomes before escalating to litigation.
In parenting matters, Harris has assisted in cases involving recovery orders, allegations of family violence, and high-conflict parenting arrangements, always with a focus on the best interests of the children and achieving practical, long-term solutions for families.
