The journey into law…
During her studies, Eliza began working in a family law firm. This opened her eyes to the complexities of family law and inspired her career direction. Eliza then moved to a workers compensation firm and gained invaluable skills for her career. This change in the area of law solidified her passion for family law and she moved to Brisbane to pursue a graduate role with a family law firm. After experiencing the Brisbane lifestyle, Eliza decided to settle back into her life in Sydney and continue her career in family law with Unified.
The passion for family law
Eliza’s passion for family law was ignited during her university studies and was further developed when she began working in a family law firm. Eliza saw, firsthand, the real and emotional side of family law, which motivated her to get involved to help individuals experiencing this hardship. Eliza is particularly motivated by parenting matters and ensuring, where practical, parents can maintain a co-parenting relationship for the benefit of their child/ren. Eliza feels a sense of fulfilment and accomplishment by bringing an end to her client’s family law journey and achieving the best possible outcome.
Experience in family law
Since completing her studies and being admitted into the legal profession, Eliza has practised family law. She has gained experience in all areas of family law and enjoys advocating for her clients before the Federal Circuit and Family Court. Eliza has learnt the importance of strategic negotiations based on the unique circumstances of each matter and ensures she takes an appropriate approach to meet the needs of each client.

Prior to settling in Family Law, Eliza gained experience in NSW Workers Compensation matters.

Passion outside of the law
Outside of work, Eliza enjoys spending time with her family and friends and getting back to her family farm. She loves adventure and enjoys travelling to experience different cultures.
