Frances Maatouk – Family & Estate Lawyer

Frances is pleased to join the team at Unified Lawyers in 2018 to head the firm’s Family and Estate Division.
Frances specialises in family law, de-facto and same sex relationships, including but not limited to: property settlements, parenting disputes, child support and divorce.
Frances also specialises in wills, estate planning and probate matters. Frances’ experience in this complex area of the law allows her to put into place strategic structures like testamentary trusts, which provide savings and protection to beneficiaries, including: tax flexibility, asset protection and capital gains tax benefits.
Frances understands the emotional sensitivities associated with family law and probate matters. This understanding drives her passion to resolve majority of her matters outside of the Court system- without compromising the best possible outcome for her client’s.
Frances ensures to communicate regularly with her client’s so that they remain informed each step along the way. Frances’ effective communication, professionalism and interpersonal skills enable her to develop strong lasting relationships with her clients, based on trust understanding and respect ensuring she achieves the best results for them.
Frances also speaks Arabic fluently and can assist Arabic speaking clients with their matters.
Frances is a member of the NSW Law Society and the NSW Young Lawyers Civil Litigation Committee.
